Jennie's Artistic Upholstery & Design
Full-service custom upholstery serving the Omaha Metro area
Jennie Ayers has always had the eye of an artist, the hands of a mechanic and an appetite for hard work. Growing up in rural Sterling, Nebraska, she excelled in home economics and art classes, learned how to play nine musical instruments and apprenticed under her three mechanically inclined older brothers, working with tools and making the necessary repairs to help cover the day's work on the family farm.
In 2022, she founded Jennie's Artistic Upholstery & Design to use her unique blend of skills, creativity and passion for her clients to do furniture restoration and repair. Based in Omaha, Nebraska, Jennie works together with clients to understand the vision for each project. From fabric and pattern selection to design consultation and alterations and repairs, Jennie takes pride in delivering quality pieces that suit any upholstery need, from antique and vintage furniture to golf cart seats.
Simplifying the Selection Process
Choosing the right type of fabric for an upholstered piece of furniture can be confusing and overwhelming. Selecting from various natural and synthetic fibers, working with the lighting in your room, pets, children and more — these all factor into choosing a quality fabric to bring your beloved piece back to life. With a broad selection of quality fabrics to fit a broad range of styles made by trusted manufacturers, Charlotte Fabrics (Minneapolis, MN) and Crest Leather (High Point, N.C), Jennie works with you during the intake process to pare down the options and find the perfect fabric for your project.
Making the best choices through collaboration and excellent customer service, Jennie's Artistic Upholstery & Design ensures that when your treasured furniture returns home, it arrives in style and exceeds your best expectations.
