Should I reupholster?
Entry-level furniture: No. More often than not, it is cheaper to purchase new entry-level furniture then to reupholster it.
Mid-level furniture: Sometimes. Is it unique or a family heirloom or antique? Is it a hard to find piece or fits just right in your home?
High-end furniture: Yes! Quality furniture is an investment that is built well and will last a long time. Reupholstering your high-end furniture is often more cost-effective than purchasing new.
Here’s the process to reupholstering your project:
Email or text photos of your project to (402) 335-0039 or jenniesartisticupholstery@gmail.com
If possible, please send several photos - front, side and back.Based on your photos, Jennie will provide an estimate of labor costs and how much fabric is needed. Upon receipt of furniture, final measurements will be completed. Labor charge and fabric needed are subject to change once furniture intake is complete. Any expected changes will be communicated to the client before proceeding with the project.
The client will select a fabric, and a final quote will be provided.
Fabric will not be purchased until final measurements are taken.
Once you accept the bid, you are added to the project queue and provided an approximate date of when work will be started on your project.
